MURA is a labour of love. It was never created to be just a business; it is a tribute to creativity, craftsmanship and the enduring artistry of the human hand.

Born in the midst of the pandemic, MURA began with a simple purpose, to create meaningful work for skilled artisans who were on the verge of leaving behind generations of inherited craft in search of a livelihood. What started as an act of hope has since grown into something far more personal, a shared journey built on trust, purpose and a deep respect for the art we create together.

My vision is to nurture this remarkable community of artisans, preserving their extraordinary skills while reimagining them for a contemporary world. Every MURA creation carries a story of heritage, patience and human touch. Through our work, I hope to take the timeless beauty of Indian textiles beyond borders and celebrate our rich craft traditions on the global stage, one thoughtfully crafted piece at a time.
